It was published by Western Publishing Co., Inc. Racine, Wisconsin. Adapted from the Mowgli Stories. This is an authorized version of the original 'Jungle Book' story, and is especially illustrated for the Golden Books and printed in the USA. The marvelous book measures approximately 6.625" X 8", and contains 28 pages, and it is accompanied by many wonderful color illustrations, based on the Disney animated film. It is the 12th release of this book which was originally published in 1967, and this version was probably published around 1995. This beloved children's book depicts a story that has been a favorite of Children for more than 100 years. Rudyard Kipling published all of these stories between 1893 and 1895. The book, "The Mowgli Stories" was first published in 1933 by Macmillan and Co., Condition: This book was obviously well loved and well read by it's owners, but is still in excellent condition. The cover is still sound, and the metallic golden tape is still in good condition. There is very little surface or corner wear on the covers. And the pages inside are very clean with only minor corner wear.
