Description: An original Japanese woodblock print by Eichii Kotozuka depicting the To-ji Pagoda in Kyoto, printed by the UCHIDA WOOD-BLOCK PRINTING CO., LTD. It depicts the 57 meter tall wooden pagoda in the grounds of the Toji Temple in Koyoto -- reputed to be the tallest padoda in Japan. The print is medium sized -- image w/in the matte is 15" long and 10" wide -- I have not taken it out of the frame, so not sure how far the image extends beneath the matte/sleeve (it appears to have been been framed in the original protective paper sleeve, which seems to be acid free as there are no signs of yellowing or tanning on the matte). Framed size is appx 20 1/4" long and 15 1/4" wide. Artist's and publisher's seals are on the upper right of the print. Inside the protective paper sleeve is a description of the temple from Uchida Wood-Block Printing Co., Ltd.
