First off, I am not an antique radio expert, so please ask any and all questions before bidding, as the item is being sold completely As-Is, As-Shown for display or restoration only! Neat old Crosley radio. This is a nice and clean unit. I plugged it in and it did power up and after a few seconds starting emitting a medium hum from the speaker, which would get louder when the volume was turned up. The tuning dial moves freely from one end to the other, but I could not tune any stations. The item displays nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and patina from age and use. The gold metal parts show finish loss, pitting, and general wear etc. The cabinet shows various scratches and scrapes and stains, etc. There is some spotting to the paint, mostly on the top of the cabinet. I took close up pics for your review. All told a very nice looking and super cool old radio that you will be proud to display. Will be well packaged and insured for safe delivery.
