c.1920s Primitive Ladies Woolen Skirt - Dark Brown

Description: c.1920s Primitive Dark Brown Woolen Skirt Original Antique Piece Suitable for Museum/Display/Collection [ FEATURES AND DETAILS... ] This is a 1920s-era dark brown wool skirt. (Though my camera is trying hard to make it look milk-chocolate color, it's actually a couple of shades darker.) It is 100% wool, with loop-and-hook fasteners, a brown tape waistband, and Roman-type flap accents in dark brown and white wool. It was obviously put together by a skilled seamstress. Measurements are approximately: 21" waist, 39" waist to hem, and 50" across the hem (laid flat). A lovely piece of history. [ CONDITION... ] - Nice as-found antique condition -- from a non-smoking environment. Responsibly stored; no signs of abuse or mildew, and no smells -- other than "old wool." - It has age-related issues: significant moth damage, which includes small holes as well as a few larger areas. Please look at the photos. There is also a 1/2"-dia. pale stain as shown. The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind that vintage/antique items always show their age. (Don't we all!?)
