Identification of the photo is taken from notations on the back, captions in a photo album, or from similar images in the same collection. SIZE: Approximately 3" x 4" . CONDITION: GOOD. Take note that condition refers to the paper, see the scans provided to judge the quality of the image itself. From a collection of Texas family photos from the early 1900's to about 1918. We believe these pictures are from the Wallace, Morgan, and Hawkins families and their friends, of Fort Worth, Midlothian, and other places in Texas. There was a news clipping from around 1918, of John Lee Wallace Jr. on a armored car in a parade, and it gave his address of 2238 Lipscomb St, Fort Worth, Texas. Photos were not ID'd, except for the oldest one of Mary Frances Newton Hawkins (1844-1924) and her children Mason "Mace" Williams Hawkins (1872-1911), and Mattie Hawkins Dees (1869-1949). After much ancestry research, we concluded that photos may be of the following people: John Lee Wallace, Sr. Born April 24, 1887 Austin, Texas. Died Aug. 31, 1965 (aged 78) of Fort Worth, Texas. John married Anne (Ann, Annie) Morgan Hawkins sometime after her first husband Mason Hawkins died. John's family includes: FATHER: Edwin Henley “Ed” Wallace, MOTHER: Ada B Crow Wallace, SIBLINGS: Charles Crow Wallace, Edwin Henley Wallace, Betty Louise Wallace Lawshe, Joseph S Wallace. Anne Morgan Hawkins Wallace Born Oct. 6, 1884 Texas, Died March 15, 1967 (aged 82) of Midlothian, and Fort Worth, Texas. Her family includes: FATHER: Thomas Adams Morgan, MOTHER: Addie Hicks Morgan, SIBLINGS: Ada Morgan Hill, Charles Thomas Morgan, Leta Vinson Morgan Crow, Eula Beatrice Morgan Wheatley. 1920 census shows the Thomas Morgan family living at 103 S. 7th St., Midlothian, Texas. (Anne's FIRST MARRIAGE) was to Mason Williams Hawkins on April 5, 1905. Mason "Mace" Hawkins was Born Aug. 24, 1871 or 1872, he Died in Dallas, Texas on June 9, 1911 (aged 38). They had a daughter Frances Addeleen Hawkins, Born Aug 22, 1909 or 1910 in Midlothian, Texas. (Anne's SECOND MARRIAGE) was to John Lee Wallace of Fort Worth, Texas. After Ann's second marriage to John wallace, her daughter from her first marriage, started going by the name of Addeleen Wallace, so we assume that she was adopted by John Lee Wallace Sr. The children of John and Anne Wallace were: Addeleen Hawkins Wallace Bowen who Died March 23, 1998 in Columbus, Ohio. She married Roy H. Bowen Nov. 27, 1946 of Columbus, Ohio. And they had a son Dr. John Lee Wallace, Jr. Born Oct. 14, 1915 in Fort Worth, Texas, Died 1 July, 1993 (aged 77) in Fort Worth, Tx.
