Description: PR-261 The Dream of the Red Chamber by Cao Xueqin published circa 1910 in paper wraps. The back cover is missing and it is unclear if any other pages are missing. This book covers the ‘lost chapters’ of which it is not entirely certain if Cao Xueqin actually wrote them or if they were added posthumously. The chapters are from 91-121- this book is volume four of an original four volume set. There are no illustrations except for the one on the front cover. The paper is fragile and has yellowing of age. The binding is still fairly tight. No writings or markings.
