This is the "BBJ9-001 BROWN'S BEACH EARLY VEST". This early vest is a standard item released every season. This material, developed for outdoor men more than 100 years ago, has a two-layer structure with cotton knitting (Russell knitting) on the surface and wool fleece on the back, which is the same structure as a sweatshirt. The fleece on the back accounts for more than 70% of the material, and the strong brushing creates a durability that is hard to believe for a knit product. The surface is made by twisting two different colored threads of different counts together, creating the unique BROWN'S BEACH texture known as "salt and pepper" texture. This model is a vest with a tight neck, which is often seen in vests produced in the 1920s and 1930s. The DOT nipple buttons (MADE IN USA), original tape, and back cinch are intact, but the front left and right pockets have been moved slightly to the center to recreate the atmosphere of the time.
