Description: This 1983 stereo LP from EMI Angel Digital Records (ASD 4397) is a British import made in Germany, and features works by Benjamin Britten: Our Hunting Fathers, Op. 8, and Folksongs. They are performed by Elisabeth Söderström (soprano), accompanied by the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera, conducted by Richard Armstrong. Album notes are in English by Colin Matthews. Full lyrics are on the inner faces of the gatefold album. The outer sleeve has a faint crease at the upper left corner (see Photo 1) and a slight edge peel at the top center of the back cover. (Photo 2) The inner sleeve has a small split at the center of one edge due to the sharp edge of the record itself.
