Description: Up for grabs is a vintage Traditional scale Breyer model horse, a grey-black Stretch Morgan with the uncommon bald face variation! This mold was sculpted by Chris Hess and the black colorway was introduced in 1963 and ran through 1987. This particular example has only one mold stamp, which reads "Breyer Molding Co.", indicating he is an oldie (produced anywhere from 1963-1971) since he lacks the "U.S.A." mold stamp! He has neat speckled shading around his shoulders/face and sports four stockings on his legs, complimented by grey hooves. This model at first glance appears to be in good condition, but upon further inspection, you can see countless shiny marks/flaws in the finish. This model is not anywhere close to mint. There are shiny lines spread just about everywhere on his body. Also, his plastic is yellowed. Please take note of his flawed condition if you are considering buying. I think he will display well as a shelf model. Don't hesitate to send an offer if you're interesting in purchasing this lovely vintage stallion! - Models will only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. - Colors in photos may differ from colors in reality. - Christmas shipping deadline: December 17, 2024.
