BRAND NEW OLD STOCK 1972 Wilton 745 Mechanics Vise. Garage Find. Never Used (WB)

Description: Recent garage find, brand new in the original “Wilton Tool” cardboard box, still banded. Stamp on vise shows production date of 6/72 and shipping label reads 9-10-72. Original equipment paper tag is still attached. It has very minor surface rust that I removed with 00 steel wool and placed a thin oil coat on the exposed metal when finished. This is a really nice, 52 year old, BRAND NEW vise. It will be crated and boxed for shipment via USPS. The black (vinyl?) tag on the side of the vise is a bit loose on the back 1/4, but is still 100% there. Condition is as seen in pictures. Though this is brand new, there are very minor imperfections including the removed surface rust on the exposed steel and a bit of surface rust on the two rear mounting feet. I did not attempt to remove the rust on the feet, only applied a light oil coating. Pictures of the “Wilton Tool” cardboard box are included only to show original shipping date. Do not expect the box as part of this sale, it is not. If you want the cardboard box, I will ship that separate and will provide tracking at no additional cost to the buyer as it will make it harder to crate mount it with the box included.
