Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely boxed set of twelve (12) lovely Mid-Century Steuben crystal baluster teardrop pedestal dessert or sherbet dishes. Set comes in its original Steuben fitted box with felt cover for each dish. This popular crystal design was created by George Thompson and is Steuben's pattern #7877. As is characteristic of all Steuben glass, there is beautiful clarity in the crystal and this elegant design features a lovely single teardrop of trapped air in the pedestal between the bowl and the base. Signed with the etched "Steuben" signature in the pontil area of the base. Current replacement value of each dish is $199.95. Measures 4 1/4" high with a top diameter of 4 1/8" and base diameter of 3". Each dish weighs slightly over 11 ounces with combined weight of approximately 14 pounds (including box). Each dish is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. Each dish comes wrapped in its individual Steuben felt bag in its fitted Steuben box. Box is nice for storage although it does reflect expected wear. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
