Description: 1977 Solid Silver Good Five Piece Cruet Set by Pinder Brothers, Sheffield. Comprising: Mustard Pot with Hinged Lid and Blue Glass Liner: Height to the top of the handle 6cm (2.1/4”) Open Table Salt with Blue Glass Liner, Height 4cm (1.1/2”) Pepper Pot: Height 8cm (3.1/8”) Mustard Spoon and Salt Spoon: Lengths 6.5cm (2.1/2”) and 5.5cm (2.1/4”) Full English Hallmarks for Pinder Brothers Sheffield England, 1977. Jubilee Year Queen Elizabeth head hallmark. In original black Case. Salt and mustard spoons are not the originals and have been married to the set. The mustard spoon is 1929 Mappin & Webb and the salt is 1972 Hampton Utilities. In very good used and pre-loved vintage condition, with salt corrosion to the salt pot. Sadly this happens, especially if salt falls behind the liner and is not cleaned leaving the liner to crush the salt and rub against the silver. The glass liner covers this up. Similar occurrence to the mustard, but very minor in comparison. Please see photos. Otherwise this set is in excellent condition no dents, dings, splits or tears. The box is in very good condition with minor shelf wear to the base.
