The cine version of Rokinon's 24mm lens features industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring, and the aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth iris pulls. The aperture and focus scales have also been relocated to the side of the lens, where it is easier for focus pullers to read them. You may recognize this lens as a rebranded Rokinon or Samyang lens and it is identical other than the Bower branding. Note that this Sony Alpha mount lens requires an adapter for use with Sony E mount. This lens is in absolutely mint condition showing no signs of wear to cosmetic surfaces. Optics are pristine – no dust inside, a clean aperture and smooth focus. No fungus or haze, scratches, blemishes etc. This lens looks brand new…they sell for $500 USD online, but get one for less right here. Both original caps and hood included with the lens. This lens is designed for use on full frame and APS-C-sized sensors and provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 36mm on an APS-C format camera. The optical construction incorporates four extra-low dispersion elements, as well as two aspherical elements, to reduce chromatic aberration and distortion to produce sharper imagery. Additionally, a UMC coating has been applied to lens elements to minimize lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich images. Compatible with full frame and APS-C Sony Alpha cameras. Wide-angle prime lens is well-suited to use in a broad variety of shooting situations. Fast T1.5 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and provides greater control over focus placement for shallow depth of field applications.
