Description: Genuine assorted Kentucky bourbon barrel staves shipped to you from the heart of bourbon country! From a family which has worked in the bourbon industry for decades. Beautifully aged white oak staves from barrels used to store and age bourbon. The insides are charred to open up the wood and impart more flavor to the bourbon as it ages. The outsides show age, greying, chalk marks and marks from the steel barrel bands. We have not cleaned them, as these are used for countless projects and crafts, some of which call for distressed appearance and some for cleaned sanded appearance. Some have stress cracks at center but all are solid.They are approx 1.25" minimum to 4" maximum width at center, approx 35" long and 1" thick. They are curved an inch or two and do not lay flat. No two alike. Price is for five assorted staves, random widths, similar to ones in photo.
