This dual-measure gauge features Bluetooth BLE 4.0 functionality that ties the device into a free downloadable app that tells you what air pressure your tires need based on the model of your vehicle. By either scanning the VIN number with your smart device or entering it in manually, the App will auto-populate the make and model of the vehicle you’re working on. A built-in LED flashlight helps illuminate valve stems in dark conditions or recessed areas. From there, you simply measure the air pressure and tread depth of each tire and the readings appear on the app and also on the tool's 1-inch backlit LED digital display and can be shown in both standard or metric increments for tread depth while pressure can be displayed in default PSI or in KPA, Kg/cm2, or BAR. The app displays current pressure readings against recommended levels based on the make and model of the vehicle. To ensure this information is accurate, STEELMAN PRO created a database of every manufacturer’s recommended tire pressure. The App can save this data for each vehicle serviced for an unlimited amount of time, which is highly beneficial for all automotive shops, independent technicians, or DIY home mechanics.
