Description: This set of 3 Bishop & Stonier Repton 10-inch dinner plates is simple and elegant. Made in the 1920s, these lovely antique plates feature a deep cobalt edge and light green scrolls, as well as rust-colored and light-mustard flowers. The center of the plate is light white, and the plates' outer rims are outlined in gold. These plates are in very good condition: There are no cracks, no chips and no crazing. Flaws? There are utensil marks in the white portion of the plates and some loss of gold around the plates' edges. There are also some small dots of blue and rust on the white fronts of two of the three plates (see last photo) and on their backs that are definitely original to their production. There are also a few spots of discoloration on their undersides (see 2nd to last photo). The bottoms of the plates are marked "Repton Semi Porcelain Imperial Bishop & Stonier England" along with some incised maker's marks.
