Description: Big Lot Vintage Realistic ARTIFICIAL APPLE BRANCHES, Decorative Display Fruit Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE LOT DECORATIVE FAUX APPLE DISPLAY FRUIT Wonderful vintage collection of nine heavy and substantial red Apple branches, each measuring about 20" in length - each apple is about 2-1/2" in size. Featuring solid fruit, they are so realistically made, you cannot tell until you pick them up that they are not real! Fruit is mounted on sturdy branches with buds and green leaf accents - seven of the branches have red apples and two have mottled red/yellow apples. Beautifully colored with all the details and tinting you would expect of an actual fruit, these date to 1998 when I purchased them to display in my antique store - original cost was $12.00 per branch. Condition is very nice with no dents, holes, cracks, or damage to the actual fruit - I bent and coiled these in order to fit them in a large crock -- as a result, three of the stems have an exposed area as shown - this looks exactly like what you would expect to see when a branch is cracked, exposing the green stem underneath. Think they would be perfect decorating a large stoneware crock which is how they have been displayed on my large farm table - fun addition to any country kitchen!
