Description: Chalkware Folk Art Mustard Yellow with Red Trim Belsnickel Santa 2016 from Vintage Metal Mold 6½" This offer is for a folk art Old World style Santa Claus (or Belsnickel) painted chalkware figure. Item measures 6½" tall. Coat color is red with white trim. I crafted this back in 2016 and rediscovered it along with a few others while disposing of my mother's estate. Somehow they got gathered together with her other holiday craft items back when she attended craft fairs and I failed to retrieve them sooner. He is signed and dated. Instead of carrying a sack he is holding a miniature bottle brush tree. Base is covered in crystal to resemble ice. Made from a vintage metal chocolate mold I still possess. I am not likely to make new pieces any time soon (at least until I can clear the clutter and can work once again in my workshop). This will be a treasured addition to your Santa collection.
