Description: Beautiful copy of the classic 2-LP boxed set of Beethoven’s Complete Sonatas for Piano and ‘Cello played by Mstislav Rostropovoch and Sviatoslav Richter, on Dutch Philips 835 182/83 AY. Both discs are very nearly perfectly mint and play completely flawlessly and just beautifully all the way through. An incredible listen. Easily the best version of this music ever recorded and a perfect playing copy. The box has some torn corners (see photos) and a little bit of scuffing and light shelfwear, but is overall quite nice and beautifully intact. The booklet is also included and in perfect shape. This is truly a top, top copy, very hard to beat.
