In 1776, during the Revolutionary War, this ship went to battle with an American ship. The American ship was on the verge of sinking when the British captain boarded and advised that the American captain surrender. His reply will forever remain a very well known quote, as he stated, “I have not yet begun to fight.” Shortly after another American ship arrived and the Serapis was defeated. The detail, skill, accuracy and quality of this piece will leave you speechless. It is truly a beautiful representation of a part of our nation’s history. The person who assembled this also deserves an award, because I couldn’t have completed this in 3 lifetimes. The dimensions are 39” long x 8” wide x 34” tall. The only defect was the top middle flag, which was broken off and hanging. I glued this back on and it’s holding. **SHIPPING: Due to the delicacy of this piece, there is no way I am shipping this via UPS. They can somehow manage to break a pillow, so this would undoubtedly arrive in roughly 432 pcs. If you are located within 4 hours of Canton, OH I can personally deliver this to you, or meet you wherever you choose.
