Description: Beautiful antique Art Deco era gold metal and celluloid large cameo brooch. This is a particularly lovely antique celluloid cameo. It is 2 5/16” long by 1 1/2” wide and weighs 17.7 grams. This antique brooch is very well made and has gorgeous detail with a sturdy, rose gold colored metal frame with lovely, dimensional repoussé detail. The celluloid cameo is somewhat domed in high-relief style and features a beautiful woman in profile in pale cream and pink. The back of this brooch is solid gold metal with a pin fastener and old “C” style clasp. This brooch is in remarkably good antique condition with no real damage other than minor, age appropriate surface wear or oxidation.
