Description: Offered for sale is this beautiful Antique 1933 Philco Model 89 Superheterodyne Cathedral Radio for display or restoration. The cabinet is in good used condition with a couple of blemishes which are pictured. There are some cracks in the laminate along the top, and a small piece of the outer wood veneer is missing on the front speaker bezel. The original speaker cloth is intact and in decent condition. it does have a few dings and scratches also viewable in the photos. It is missing the dial bezel, which would have been a small metal piece with a window. The power cord has been replaced at some point with a modern version. This Radio has all its original Philco vacuum tubes and will power on and warm up but does nothing but produce a loud buzz and may need some of its original capacitors replaced to be fully functional.
