BAYLOR SWISS VINTAGE, 17 JEWEL WIND UP, SIGNED CROWN & BUCKLE, TIME TESTED!

Description: PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING TEXT AND CAREFULLY REVIEW ALL 8 PHOTOS. This is a listing for a pre-owned Swiss made BAYLOR vintage 17 Jewel manual wind wristwatch with calendar window. I believe the watch was made in the 1960's-1970's time period. Baylor made quality watches. The watch crown is a little hard for me to wind and the buyer can either use it as is or have another crown installed. I recently time tested the watch (dial up) for 24 hours and it only gained 1 minute, which is excellent for a vintage timepiece that has not been serviced in recent years. Please note that the watch may not continue this time performance in the future without a service. If the buyer only wishes to wear the watch occasionally, a service may not be necessary, but, if the buyer wishes to wear the watch more often, then, I recommend that the watch be serviced for best performance. Why buy an untested watch? The watch dial and crystal are both in excellent condition-see photos. I was told by my watch seller that the watch bracelet and buckle and crown are original, but, I am not an expert on Baylor watches, so, the buyer must make their own decision based upon the photos. The watch has a date calendar that is in working order. I bought this watch many years ago from a trusted watch dealer and I have full confidence in what he told me. The watch measurements are: approx. 36mm (including the crown) in width, approx. 41mm lug to lug, approx. 10mm thick and the bracelet has approx. 18mm connecting end pieces. The bracelet buckle has adjustment holes-see the photos. I have a 7 and 3/4" wrist and the bracelet fits nicely, but, if the buyer's wrist is 8" or more, the buyer should not buy this watch, unless they are willing to have the bracelet extended. An 8" wrist might work, but it might be too tight and I would not recommend it, so, the buyer's wrist should be under 8" for best fit. PLEASE MEASURE YOUR WRIST BEFORE YOU BUY THIS WATCH!
