Description: Barre Granite Association Vermont Lot 2 Booklets Grave Memorials C 1935 Barre Granite Association Vermont Lot 2 Booklets Grave Memorials C 1935 Description BARRE GRANITE MEMORIAL BOOKLETS, 1930'S ORIGINAL ERA ITEMS This is a set of two booklets, including original envelopes, estimated to be from around the 1930's They are undated, but the recipient of these items, as evidenced by his name on the envelopes, died in 1941, and so the booklets most likely date before this. The Book of Memorials prepared by the Barre Granite Association, a group of manufacturers and quarriers. The booklet measures 8-1/2" 11" and has approximately 30 unnumbered pages. It is staple bound has has a dust jacket. It has illustrations of a selection of memorials and mausoleums. It also discusses "the story of Select Barre Granite" with photos of the quarries and stone cutting processes. This item is some moisture indications with wrinkling affecting all pages along the outside top corner about 3" x 3", corner and along the bottom edge about 1/2". The second item is "Catalog 'B', A Catalog of Beautiful and Practical Designs, Select Barre Granite" from the Granite Corporation of Vermont. Inside the front is also the name of Memorial Art Studio, Cleveland, Ohio. This book measures 8-1/2" x 11" and has 15 unnumbered pages. This book is filled cover to cover with photos of memorial designs. This booklet is in good condition with a creased lower corner Along with this is a smaller booklet, wholesale price list.
