Description: Thank you for talking the time to view my Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon DM1016A wristwatch! This is a unique timepiece that features a partially brushed and partially high-polish stainless steel case and bracelet. It also features a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screwdown crown, and 300 meters of water resistance. Its dial is white, its hands are blue, and its luminescence comes from tritium tubes. I purchased this watch earlier this year, and to my knowledge I am the second owner. This is a simple "catch-and-release" for me, and a great watch for someone else to enjoy! Condition: - The watch is in fair physical condition. Perhaps 70% physical condition overall. There are scratches and wear marks throughout the case and bracelet. The previous owner likely wore this watch daily. There are also scratches and wear marks on and around the case screws and bracelet screws where the previous owner appears to have removed the bracelet. Please see photos for some of the watch's more obvious flaws. - Regarding functional condition, the watch runs, the timesetting and datesetting functions work, the bracelet clasps work, the crown security clasp works, and the crown screws/unscrews as expected. The negatives are that the watch runs slow, and its service history is unknown. The watch has not been connected to a timegrapher to determine how slow it runs. A service would be recommended to improve its timekeeping and also to check/replace the watch's gaskets before exposing it to water. (I have never exposed this watch to water). Other negatives are that the bezel rotates but seems to be stiff, and that the watch's tritium tubes glow but not as brightly as brand new tritium tubes. - The watch comes with one spare half-link.
