It has a very nice sounding and thick Strad-like tone.The piston and slide operate smoothly without sticking.It has been cleaned and greased prior to sale.There are some dents and dings due to rough plating, but there are no major dents that would interfere with playing. Please understand that there is some deterioration due to age.The plating has been coated with nail polish to prevent further peeling, but if you are concerned about this, you can easily remove the nail polish with nail polish remover. There is no case, so we will carefully pack it and ship it in a cardboard box.
