Avon Nativity Collectibles THE ANGEL Porcelain Figurine, 1985, Original Box

Description: Either start or complete your nativity set with the Avon Nativity Collectibles THE ANGEL figurine from 1985. Crafted from fine porcelain, it has intricate detail and a classic aesthetic. Included in the original box with the original custom fitted styrofoam box inside to protect it through all these years. BUT NOTE that someone dropped it at some point and one wing has had to be glued back on, which I didn't notice until adding the photos you see above and on the one with the hanger, you can see it more shiny from glue! I never noticed it while handling it before, so it doesn't detract from it particularly...however, I cut the price in half from what these usually list as, because normally I don't sell anything mended. This one is just such a hard to find piece and it goes with the set, so here it is. This figurine is a part of Avon's cherished Nativity Collectibles series, it's a solitary piece that would make a wonderful addition to any existing set. It was meant to fly above the nativity scene on the stable sold separately, but can hang on the tree as well.) I have the entire set listed as separate 'buy it now' sales, so check my other listings for pieces you may have missed on the specific year each came out. This one is about 4 1/2" tall, almost 3" wide. Though it is well protected inside the box, I also ship with great care so that the outer box also arrives in good condition and will continue to protect the sculpture, as this one has for 39 years! (Please note that the box has a partially torn flap and some color missing from wear on the top, and remember! I later found that a wing had been broken off and glued back, as described above! I am selling it anyway, since I'll have the stable on another listing that you may want it to go with.)
