Authentic Ancient Roman Coin 378-383 AD Gratianus, 1600 Year Old Kneeling Female

Description: This is a genuine ancient Roman coin from the era of Emperor Gratianus, dated between 378-383 AD. The obverse side features Emperor Gratianus while the reverse side depicts the Emperor with a kneeling female figure holding his hand. Gratianus, 359 - 383, was emperor of the Western Roman Empire from 367 to 383. The eldest son of Valentinian I, Gratian was raised to the rank of Augustus as a child and inherited the West after his father's death in 375. Gratianus nominally shared the government with his infant half-brother Valentinian II, who was also acclaimed emperor in Pannonia on Valentinian's death. The East was ruled by his uncle Valens, who was later succeeded by Theodosius I. This coin is a rare and valuable piece of history, perfect for any collector or enthusiast interested in ancient Roman culture. C443
