The Van Atta's originally had a farm and lived in Durum County, North Carolina. They moved to Missouri and lived in Columbia (Boone County). A father / son family collection that was collected over a few generations by Mr. Van Atta, and his son Earl Van Atta Jr. The father / son family collected from 1912 to 1948. They hunted mainly in Missouri and Arkansas, but some other states also. Most artifacts from this collection that were written in india ink were found by dad, and written in pencil by son. The collection was put into storage in 1949. They were sold to Dennis Bushey of Selma, Alabama in 1997 by the son - who at that time was about 80 years old. I was able to buy a few hundred pieces from Mr. Bushey in 1999 at the Pigeon Forge Tennessee Artifact show. I will be listing some each week or so. These have never been on the market since I purchased them 25 years ago. There are NO FAKE G-10 relics here. Just AUTHENTIC points from a well documentated, old time, original collection. I will be listing all of these at a BIN $7.97 each. If you purchase 5 or more at the same time - put them in your cart and ask for a total. I will sell them all at $5.97 each (a 25% discount) with a combined shipping fee of $7.97 no matter how many you buy. Thank you. All relics are 100% guaranteed Prehistoric Authentic unless stated otherwise. I offer a 30 day return policy on all items sold with no questions asked. I will always Combine Shipping on multiple items won. I have been collecting relics for over thirty years and I am a current or former member of the following societies: Genuine Indian Relic Society (GIRS), Central States Archaeological Society (CSAS), Authentic Artifact Collectors Association (AACA), and Arrowpack. Provenience and Provenance of each and every artifact is very important to me, and everything I own I have researched from the original finder - if known - right up to present time. All of this data will be included with every item I sell for all future generations.
