The H4DU-50 color is sort of cream.Light colored phones tend to fade to a smokey yellow tint. If you lift the receiver and the cradle is a different color you are dealing with fading. Then color matching is not possible. Some of the AT&T CL2909 phones are also a light ivory. Most are a bright white. If yours is a light ivory CL2909, this cord will work. This cord works on any phone with a modular connector. Some trimline phones over 30 years old used a special cord that requires a tool to replace. Other phones over 30 years old used hard-wired (aka spade tip) cords. If your cord simply "clicks" in place, this cord will work fine.
