It does not come with an SD card but the firmware is updated to the latest version per ATN Website. The scope has been set to factory settings so you only need to insert an SD card, let the scope format it and you're done. Internal batteries are still very strong. I have total confidence in this product. With the scope, I've include an ATN LaserBallistics 1000 bluetooth rangefinder as well. Keep the rangefinder close to the scope, set you range and it will set the range and ballistics in your scope. While it appears to be no longer sold on the ATN website, I paid around $250 for it. It has a menu screen that has toomany features to possibly list but here are some: Internalfull ballistics calculator that can calculate your shot based on:· Weather· Distance· Angle of fire· Wind direction· Weight and speed of bullet A few otherfeatures are:· Built in Rangefinder· Reticle type and color· Zero Reticle feature that allows you to perfectlyzero the scope in 1 shot.· Record Video feature allows you to set howmany seconds before and after the shot you wish to record.
