Thank you!! --> Up for consideration is a vintage Associated Research Hypot Junior It is a High Voltage Dielectric AC Hipot Tester: 3kV 15VA 5mA Model: 4025 Listed As Is. It has been tested and is working with unloaded output voltages. The current trip function has not. On power up, the failure light illuminates, the unit sounds an electrical buzz, with no output voltage. Pressing the Reset button, properly resets the unit for operation. The steel enclosure is in fair condition; missing the front door cover. The 15kV rated output cables appear to be original. The clamps and boots are not. The front AC panel meter works but will not mechanically adjust to zero using the front adjustment screw. It seems to track the increase in voltage up to 3kV compared to a Fluke DVM with High Voltage Probe. But also appears to be up to several hundred volts off. As with any vintage electronic equipment with high voltages, only competent buyers should purchase instruments like these and assume all responsibility and risk for use and implementation.
