Description: I bought this wooden desktop pen set at the Penn State Arts festival. I believe that I paid about $75 for the set. I used it on my desk at work. It was very handy not only because it was on my desk but because it has a trough on it to store your pen or pencil for a short time if you are working on something. I am now retired and no longer need it. It is a beautiful set and I received a lot of compliments regarding it. The base is 13.25 in wide x 3.75 in deep. It is about 1.5 inches tall at its tallest point. The pen an pencil are wooden also and are about 6.5 inches long. Both the pen and the pencil need to be refilled. I did not try to do this and do not know how to do it. It appears that the tip of the pen comes off but I am lost from there. (I am not very mechanical.) Because I do not know how to do this, I am not guaranteeing that the pen or pencil can be refilled. The desktop set is in good shape. The base needs to have some ink marks cleaned off of it. I put two felt dots on the bottom of the base. Only one remains. You can either remove the one remaining or add a second one. I used to play with the end tip of the pen. Wouldn't you know it, I lost the thing. Because of that, the end tip on the pen is missing. Even though I pride myself in shipping items so that they do not get damaged, I will be sending this insured so that your item is insured against loss or damage against shipping.
