Artie Shaw, 2 EPIC 45 RPM extended play albums (~1953) 8 songs

Description: Back in my high school days (graduated 1958) I bought a LOT of 45rpm EP albums, especially jazz. I recntly found a box of them tucked away. Their covers show various degrees of water damage, but the records themselves are almost all mint or nearly so. THIS listing is for two EPIC extended play 45-RPM albums, 3 or so.EG-7031 and EG-7039, released about 1954. Epic was created in 1953 as a Columbia subidiary for jazz. The "strings" album songs were recorded in 1936 with a string quartet. The "non-stop flight" album also consists songs recorded in the 1930s. One bid gets both albums. These are all instrumentals. The tracks: Artie Shaw with Strings EG-7031: Sobbin' Blues, Copenhagen, My Blue Heaven, Sweet Lorraine. Orchestra, EG 7039: Free for All, Monsoon, Non-Stop Flight, I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time 7031 cover shows staining and wrinkling from water damage. 7039 cover was partly destroyed, as shown. Discs are near mint; apparent scratches shown in my photos are lint from my scanner. If you are buying more than one item similar to this, you should ask for a COMBINED INVOICE before paying.
