Description: Just over 14” x 11” matted. Marker is on cellophane, not the matting. This is a limited edition print (of a painting originally from the 1970s or earlier, as it was commissioned by Middletown Savings Bank , which was bought in 1975) made by New England Watercolors. The print is off kilter under the matting, as pictured. Cellophane is ripped at edges. Stains to matting and cellophane but print itself looks like it has been protected. Wear commensurate to age, including, potentially: nicks, stains, old smells, and other imperfections. Our research notes indicate our best efforts but are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. You get what you see :) The Granite State caught fire and sank at Goodspeed Landing in East Haddam in 1883. The demise of the Granite State, not only symbolized the end of William Henry Goodspeed‘s life, but also the age of the elegant Hartford to New York steamers.
