Description: ARMAGEDDON Original Theater Issued (12' X 2.5') Vinyl Banner - 1998 - RARE! I received this banner directly from a local theater that received it from the studio in 1998 upon it's original release. It was created to promote the theatrical release of the film, presented in an enormous 12' x 2.5' vinyl banner w/ adhesive back. Promotional banners like this one were never created for consumer purchase, making them highly sought-after artifacts, especially for widely acclaimed films like Armageddon. On the rare occasion that a theater was issued this banner, it was almost always thrown out after use. I have not seen another version like this banner survive. Not only is it rare for this piece to have survived over the last 20+ years, this banner was never displayed! I found this in the storage room of a theater in it's original tube! Condition: This incredible piece was NEVER displayed and is in excellent condition! It shows minor handling and edge wear with a few sections around the edge have slightly separated from it's adhesive backing. it does have an adhesive back but the protective cover has never been removed. It was issued in 2 separate sections. The banner is rolled, and the condition of this eye-catching piece overall is Very Good. Please see pictures.
