Description: Antoine De Saint-Exupery / Le Petit Prince [The Little Prince] 2nd Print, 1943. A good condition, second printing of "Le Petit Prince" which includes original dust jacket in a mylar jacket. Reynal and Hitchcock are the publisher making it a true first French edition, second printing. Page 63 also had the "secret raven" hidden in background that was only found in the earliest of printings. Book was stored poorly at some point resulting in a discoloration on the outside of the book. It is darker than is typically seen on dust jacket. See photos, as most areas are covered. General wear and tear throughout book, such as aging on the pages. Overall book boards, binding and pages are in solid condition, and can be handled like normal. Price has been adjusted for the detractors in condition mentioned above, however, it is extremely rare to find any version of this book, in any condition. It is also the earliest, easy to verify, version of the book as first printings and certain later printings have an identical jacket and require extra points to confirm printing.
