The font is red glass which is now permanently fixed, with plaster of Paris, into a brass base that was probably originally a candle stick. The font has a new French Gaudard burner and wick. There is a Cristal brand glass chimney extending from the burner up through centre of the shade. The font supports a pretty flower like glass shade.
