Description: Antique Wood Stove Or Hearth Cast Iron Kettle Marked 6 Has Crack Weighs 8 Lbs Fine looking old kettle made of cast iron with a bail handle. Possibly a vintage reproduction; the handle has a hard plastic grip that could be from the early 1900s or somewhat earlier but perhaps somewhat later as well. The lid is nicely designed making it a bit fancier than the standard iron kettle. Good decor piece. NOTE that there is a crack in the bottom of the kettle and it cannot be used as intended. Measures 11 1/2" to top of handle when upright x 12 1/2" spout to back x 9" in diameter.
