Description: This antique model 1807 mantle clock by WM L. Gilbert is a stunning piece that will add a touch of elegance to any room. Crafted in walnut finish, it features a tambour shape and a mechanical movement with an 8-day cycle. The clock comes with keys and a pendulum, and it has a 2 hammer duo-tone chime sequence. The clock is vintage and was manufactured in the United States during the Edwardian era (1901-1910). The clock will wind and run but does not stay running, will need some work to get it in good working condition. All necessary parts you see are included. Chimes also wind and chime on the hour, half and quarter hour. Case is in beautiful condition, nothing to do there. It is missing the rear door, however, a nice one can be purchased separately. This mantle clock is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts of antique decorative items. If you have any questions please contact me, I've owned this clock for 20 years. It will be carefully packaged for safe shipping via USPS or UPS.
