Description: For sale is an Antique Vintage Native American Choctaw Cherokee tribe craftsman made River Cane Basket with handle. It has a square base, round body and rim. The polychrome natural dye coloration appears on all sides including the base. Great old used patina and good well preserved condition. It measures approximately 6” in diameter at the rim and 5” tall without the handle (8.5” tall with handle). There are some minor splint bents and missing strains here and there, but not too noticeable. The handle is securely attached. Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are to be expected.
