Still has (lead?) seal on meter cover for authentic provenance. Last patent date is June 5th 1908, I'd venture a guess its at least 100 years old. Great for steampunk lamp base, industrial decor, museum, antique garage etc. The wire leads are removeable and accessible. It's an antique and does not meet any modern NEC/UL requirements, sold as a novelty or antique. I am not liable if you get shocked doing something with it.
