Description: Item Description: Absolutely stunning vintage / antique hand-beaded Roaring 20's / Great Gatsby-style evening bag. Unbranded / exact age unknown, but the estate it came from claimed it to be from the 1920's - 1950's. Ombre-style seed beading in colors ranging from light gold to cognac/amber to dark brown. Ornate, floral-inspired metal frame with jacquard lining/pouch and chain-link carrying handle. Push-button clasp is still functional. Measurements: The bag itself is approximately 8" L (not including the beaded fringe) x 7" W (at the widest point near the bottom). The handle drop is approximately 6". The metal frame measures approximately 5" across at the top. Condition: In fair to good overall ANTIQUE / VINTAGE condition, with a few issues that need attention depending on intended use. There are some areas of loose threading / beading. Several areas of the lining have come loose from the metal frame. At least one loose seam was noted in the top of the lining, but no holes were seen in the fabric itself.
