Description: Up for sale is a curious example of a stand lamp made from Opalescent glass and is pictured in Thuros Oil Lamps 2 book on page 100 and referred to as "Grant" although the example pictured in the book is much more opalescent than this lamp. Still a curious look about it in person. Made around 1900 according the Thuro. The lamp measures 20" to the top of the Chimney, 11 1/4" to the top of the collar and is about 6" across the base. I do not see any chips or cracks. It has a beautiful hand-painted milk glass shade with a cabbage rose signed ruby
