These 2 sun bonnets are French and date from right around 1900. A rare and lucky find. The pale gray is being included at very little cost as the string around the back is missing and has to be replaced. There are wooden ribs that keep the structure of the visor and lovely ties at the back and chin! ~*~ Lovely for wearing or hanging as a decorative textile, or for a costume or period event! ~*~ ~*~ ( bonnet E2 ) MEASUREMENTS : The gray bonnet measures measures approx. 20 inches long and 24.5 inches wide when laid totally flat. The ties are 14 inches long. CONDITION : These are both found in as found, unwashed condition. The dark grey bonnet has light signs of time and use, a couple of tiny holes, faded and some dusty marks.
