The Streit "Slumber" chair, also known as the Morris chair, is a recliner with a slide-out footstool that is considered one of the first library / reading / club recliner chairs ever made. Streit Morris Slumber Chair was manufactured by the C.F. Streit Manufacturing Company which was founded in 1871 in Cincinnati, Ohio. CONDITION Good antique condition, wear and distressing commensurate with age and use, scuffing / tears / impacts to vinyl, missing nailheads, no longer reclines.
