Antique Sterling Silver Locket Book Chain Necklace

Description: Beautiful book chain necklace and wonderful sterling locket with a fancy letter monogrammed design and ornate motif around edge....chain is hallmarked with the passant lion facing left, for sterling content, on every oval link except one by the clasp, the last link has makers mark of J.H, and on the sport ring bail clasp it is marked J.H with the lion mark...the locket bears no marks I could find, unless they are under the photos(I have not removed them), but has been tested to be sterling silver. Inside there is a glass covered photo compartment on one side with an old photo of some children and a woman wearing a fur coat. The other side has a photo holder ring but no cover...it has purple backing paper.... The piece is in very good condition, the chain is in excellent condition, the locket has one ding on the back of the bail as you can see in the last photo, and opens and shuts firmly as it should...as far as the monogram, I can't make out the letters but they appear to be like "branches"... The chain is 16 1/2" long and is approx. 3/8" wide. The locket is 2 1/2" from top of bail to bottom of locket x 1 1/4" wide. Total weight is 40.4 grams.
