Description: Lovely antique covered soup tureen by Royal Doulton bears the Burslem mark, which was used from 1891 to 1901. This is the Oriel pattern, blue on white. The piece measures approximately 12 inches x 11 inches x 8.5 inches at the decorative finial. Made in England, the tureen is 120+ years old, so it does show its age. No cracks or chips, but it does have crazing and some discoloration under the glaze. Most of the age coloring is inside the tureen, but there are a few spots on the outside near one corner. The price reflects the condition.
