Description: Up for sale is an absolutely fantastic antique Rogers Smith & Co silverplate teapot. There is so much going on with it I don't know where to start. It features lion heads at the top of each of the legs which end in hoof feet. There is a cameo decoration at the top of the handle as well as overall fancy engraving. It has a last name engraved as shown, I believe it says Kutz. The teapot needs a careful cleaning and polishing. There is a very shallow ding right on top of the Kutz engraving, a small but deep scratch on the lid as shown in the last photo and the finial is slightly lopsided. Otherwise it is in very nice condition as you can see in the photos. The inside is remarkably clean. It measures approximately 7.5" tall 11" long handle to spout.
