Description: Antique RED WING 5 Gal Jug Crock Union Stoneware Co. Up for sale is a beautiful antique Redwing 5 Gallon Stoneware/Jug with 4" Inch Wing logo in the front. Around 1906, the elephant ear and birch leaf stamps were replaced with the now familiar red wing stamp which was used until the pottery plant closed in 1967. The early red wing stamps were six inches in length. As time went on, the wing size was reduced to four inches and then finally to two inches. Wonderful condition, no visible damage, no chips, some imperfection (which does not appear to be cracking underneath the handle). The piece measures 18x12.
